Please note that from 17 to 31 March 2014 Consulate General of Greece in St. Petersburg will be performing accreditation procedure for travel agencies for the period of 2014-2015. All the necessary information about the accreditation procedure you can find here.
|27 December 2013: Visa application center of Greece in Moscow - Kindly note that on 31 December 2013 Visa Center will be open from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. only for passport collection. On 1, 6 and 7 January 2014 Greece Visa Center in Moscow will be closed. Please also note that the Consulate General of Greece in Moscow will also be closed on 1, 6 and 7 January, 2014 for visitors.
Visa Centers located in Ekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Kazan, Khabarovsk, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Samara, Ufa, Vladivostok will be closed from 1 to 8 January 2014.
Please also note that on 30 and 31 December 2013, all of the above Visa Centers will be opened only for passport collection and will operate as per normal business hours. Visa application center in Nizhny Novgorod and Novosibirsk.will be open only for passport collection till 13:00 hours on 31st December, 2013
Visa Application Centers of Greece in Novorossiysk, Rostov, Sochi and Krasnodar will also be closed from from 1 to 8 January 2014.
On 31 December 2013 all of the above Visa Centers will be opened only for passport collection and will operate as normal business hours.,
Please also note that the Consulate General of Greece in Novorossiysk will be closed on 1, 6 and 7 January 2014 for visitors.However, it will be open on 2, 3 and 8 January 2014 for direct submission for visitors without making any prior appointment.

Please note that the Consulate General of Greece in Moscow will be closed on 28 and 29 November.
In this regard, applications for submission will not be accepted in various locations as per below schedule:

|25 October 2013: Applicants submitting in St.Petersburg, please be aware that Since the changes made in the article 5, paragraph 1a of the Regulation (EU) 562/2006 became effective on 18 October 2013, the following rules are now in force:|
- Passport must be valid for at least 3 months after the date of intended departure from the Schengen area.
- Passport must be issued during the last 10 years.
- A new method of calculation of short stays in the Schengen area applies. To plan your trip to the Schengen area properly, please use a calculation tool on the following link:
On the above link please follow “the short-stay calculator” link and enter the dates of your previous stays within the Schengen area in the respective boxes.

12 August 2013: On 15 August 2013 all Greece visa centers will be open as per the normal working hours except for St. Petersburg and Murmansk. St. Petersburg and Murmansk visa application center will remain closed. However, the Consulate General of Greece in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Novorossiysk will remain closed on 15 August, 2013 and hence the minimum timeline for obtaining a visa will be extended by one day.|

|22 June 2013: On 24 June 2013 all Greece visa centers will be open as per the normal working hours except for Moscow, St. Petersburg and Murmansk.
Moscow visa center will remain open on 24 June 2013; however the submission hours will be only from 10:00 to 13:00 hours. There is no change in passback timings which is from 16:00 to 18:00 hours
St. Petersburg and Murmansk visa center will remain closed on 24 June 2013.

As per the New Russian Law on Personal Data Protection - which will be observed from 23 of May 2011 - All Applicants who are applying themselves or through a Courier Representative need to ensure that the Forms are signed by each Individual and submitted along with their Application. For these Forms please click here.
Individual Applicants can still submit personally their visa application at the Consulates premise, if they prefer to do so. For submission at the Consulates, an appointment has to be made with the Visa Section in advance.
Please note that from 1 July 2011, all applicants who are physically challenged having relevant documents, if are exempt from the Visa Fees shall also be exempt from Service Fees.

Please note that the Citizens and Permanent Residence holders of Republic of Belarus, who are residing in Belarus, are recommended to apply for the Visa to Greece in the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania - which is located at 68, Zacharova Street, Minsk 220088, Republic of Belarus.
|Information for Travel Agencies in St.Petersburg:
Since January, 1, 2011 the presentation of the original of Russian national passport of the tourist isn't required, it is enough to give photocopies of all pages of the passport having any marks. Copies should be two-sided printed, two double-pages of the passport on each side.
Also it is not required to present originals of the documents confirming relationship, in the case when the child is accompanied by a person other than his parents. Photocopies of documents are sufficient.
The birth certificate of the child and the notarial authorization of parents for his trip abroad should be still submitted in the original with one photocopy.

a) Dear Applicants, from 19 April 2010 - all applications of children under 12 years old being submitted to the Greek Visa Service Centers in all locations over Russian Federation will be exempt from Visa Fee.
b) Please note that with effect from the 1 May 2011, all children below the age of 6 years old being submitted to the Greek Visa Service Centers in all locations over Russian Federation will be exempt from Service Fee.
