Important News and Notices

8 May 2013: Please note that the Citizens and Permanent Residence holders of Republic of Belarus can submit their visa applications at the Visa Service Center in Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Samara, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnoyarsk, Kaliningrad, Irkutsk, Ufa, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok and Sochi.

8 May 2013: Workload schedule for May 2013 at Moscow Greek Visa Center:
Applicants submitting in Moscow Greek Visa Center are requested to note the tentative workload for Submissions and Collections for the month of May 2013. Please click here for the same.

26 April 2013: Applicants submitting in Moscow Greek Visa Center please note that the Visa Center would be open and operating as per normal business hours on 2 May, 2013

24 April 2013: Applicants submitting in May 2013 in Moscow Greek Visa Center please note:

      a) Visa center will be closed on Saturday, 4 May, 2013

      b) Visa center will be open for submission on Monday, 6 May, 2013 from 10:00 to 14:00 and for passback from 16:00 to 18:00

23 April 2013: Change in Passback timings for Moscow Greek Visa Center from 1 May 2013:

Applicants submitting in Moscow Greek Visa center kindly note that the Passback timings will change FROM 15:00-17:00 TO 16:00-18:00 with effect from 1 May, 2013

22 April 2013: Starting from 22 April 2013 Visa Center of Greece in Murmansk is open at Zelenaya str.,76

30 March 2013: Applicants submitting in Moscow Greek Visa Service Centre please note that:

a) Starting from 1 April 2013 Visa Center will be open for submission from 08:30 to 13:00 hrs.


b) Starting from 13 April 2013 Visa Center will work on Saturdays for submission from 10:00 to 14:00 hrs. and for collection from 14:00 to 16:00 hrs.


18 February 2013: Dear Applicants!

Please be informed that the JVAC in Ekaterinburg will move from its current premises at 22, Karl Liebknekht Street to the new premises at Panorama Business Hotel, Kuibysheva Street 44, 2nd Floor (access from Belinskogo Street) on 11 March 2013.


5 February 2013: Dear Applicant, please note that the Greek Visa Service Centre in Moscow shall operate from a new Nikitskiy bulvar, building 17 starting from 18 February 2013. For further details, please refer to the Contact Us page.

28 January 2013: Please note that from 15 March 2013 to 09 April 2013 the Consulate General of Greece in St. Petersburg is starting accreditation procedure for Travel Agencies for the period of 2013-2014. All the necessary information about the accreditation procedure you can find here.

Dear Applicant, please note the below mentioned Visa Centers shall now be accepting applications for Greece:

1) Kaliningrad (from 15 November 2012)
2) Ufa (from 15 November 2012)
3) Irkutsk (from 15 November 2012)
4) Khabarovsk (from 15 November 2012)
5) Vladivostok (from 15 November 2012)
6) Sochi (from 17 December 2012)

For the attention of Travel Agencies:

Please note that from 27 of February 2013 to 22 of March 2013 the Consulate General of Greece in Moscow is starting accreditation procedure for Travel Agencies for the period of 2013-2014. All the necessary information about the accreditation procedure you can find here.

As per the New Russian Law on Personal Data Protection - which will be observed from 23 of May 2011 - All Applicants who are applying themselves or through a Courier Representative need to ensure that the Forms are signed by each Individual and submitted along with their Application. For these Forms please click here.

Individual Applicants can still submit personally their visa application at the Consulates premise, if they prefer to do so. For submission at the Consulates, an appointment has to be made with the Visa Section in advance.

Please note that from 1 July 2011, all applicants who are physically challenged having relevant documents, if are exempt from the Visa Fees shall also be exempt from Service Fees.

For the attention of Applicants in Belarus:

Please note that the Citizens and Permanent Residence holders of Republic of Belarus, who are residing in Belarus, are recommended to apply for the Visa to Greece in the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania - which is located at 68, Zacharova Street, Minsk 220088, Republic of Belarus.



Information for Travel Agencies in St.Petersburg:

Since January, 1, 2011 the presentation of the original of Russian national passport of the tourist isn't required, it is enough to give photocopies of all pages of the passport having any marks. Copies should be two-sided printed, two double-pages of the passport on each side.

Also it is not required to present originals of the documents confirming relationship, in the case when the child is accompanied by a person other than his parents. Photocopies of documents are sufficient.

The birth certificate of the child and the notarial authorization of parents for his trip abroad should be still submitted in the original with one photocopy.

For Applications to Consulate General of Novorossiysk:

Dear Applicants, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that the Consulate General of Greece in Novorossiysk shall accept applications for its region from the Greek Visa Service Center in Rostov-on-don, Krasnodar and Sochi.You can find the necessary information on this website and here are some links for ease in navigation : Submit Your Application - Where to Apply and Contact Us pages for the list of regions. All Travel Agents should submit their applications ONLY at the Visa Center and not directly at the Consulate.

Child Gratis cases:

a) Dear Applicants, from 19 April 2010 - all applications of children under 12 years old being submitted to the Greek Visa Service Centers in all locations over Russian Federation will be exempt from Visa Fee.

b) Please note that with effect from the 1 May 2011, all children below the age of 6 years old being submitted to the Greek Visa Service Centers in all locations over Russian Federation will be exempt from Service Fee.
